Dean DeCrease loves finding unexpected answers to business and community problems in the designs of nature-including human nature. He combines his international business and technical experience with a passion for sustainability and community, in order to create new approaches to solving problems at Re-Vision Labs, a social collaboration software and consulting company. Dean has run a growing $300 million packaging business, built the global sustainability office for a Fortune 100 company in Geneva, and has served as director of technology, customer service, and product development. While head of marketing & sales in the Pacific Rim, he grew market share during the Asian currency crisis of the late 1990s. Having lived and worked in Europe, Asia, and Latin America, he enjoys taking a global perspective while focusing on living local economies. Dean participated in the "Group of '95" in London, which laid the foundation for the Forest Stewardship Council, and studied with The Natural Step in Sweden. Creator of The Fourth Element sustainability strategy and a natural foods dining guide, Dean is engaged in a number of software, restaurant & food and arts projects in the U.S. and abroad.
